Dr. Cassie Stinson is an attending clinician at Moody Health Center. She earned her Doctorate from Texas Chiropractic College in 2009 as the class salutatorian while earning her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and holds postgraduate certification in Sports Medicine. In addition to being a full time clinician at Moody Health Center, she is also an adjunct faculty instructor for Texas Chiropractic College Rehabilitation and Active Care class. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2005 where she played on the basketball team.

As a certified chiropractic sports practitioner, Dr. Stinson is qualified to provide chiropractic care to athletes facing sports injuries, sensory impairment, and functional limitations. She is currently the team treating chiropractor for the Houston Dash, a women’s professional soccer team. She also provides event support to area road races, fun runs, Crossfit events, and triathlons (Including Ironman 70.3 and Ironman Texas-National Championship). As a former college basketball player, Dr. Stinson understands the struggles athletes face when injuries prevent them from playing sports and enjoys working with them to overcome those injuries.

Dr. Stinson also has an interest in helping pregnant mothers before and after labor. She is certified in the Webster technique, a chiropractic analysis and adjustment procedure designed to restore proper pelvic balance and function. The Webster technique may be used throughout pregnancy to detect and alleviate sacral imbalance and optimize pelvic neuro-biomechanics in the mother. This allows the baby optimal room for movement in utero and provides it the opportunity to develop free of constraint.

Dr. Stinson believes that a healthy lifestyle requires us to make important decisions every day. “To be healthy, one must concentrate not only on the physical aspect but also on the emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects. My goal in life is to work with my patients, inspiring them to live healthy by improving their quality of life.”
